Progressive O&P, Inc., located at 1111 Willis Avenue in Albertson, NY, is the area leader in the fitting and fabrication of custom-made orthotic and prosthetic appliances and professional, compassionate prosthetic and orthotic patient care.
Our dedication to our patients is unparalleled. We don’t view our patients as simply persons with disabilities, we view them for who they are; this helps us design a prosthesis or orthosis for you and your lifestyle. Usually, a grandparent and a competitive runner are not going to wear the same type of prosthesis! When you come to Progressive O&P for your next prosthesis or orthosis, our goal is not to simply make a device but to treat the whole individual, with their goals and objectives in mind.
We have skilled clinicians who are dedicated to our patients, with a broad base of experience that allows our orthotists and prosthetists to make thorough observations and insightful clinical decisions. Our clinicians are American Board Certified and are constantly furthering their education and professional training; this emphasis on clinical excellence helps our practitioners better serve our patients as we work towards our common goal of ‘restoring function and achieving patient independence.’
We have a specialized Insurance Appeals Team to fight for your right to be fitted with the right prosthesis/orthosis for you, and we won’t let cost-cutting insurance companies push you around. If you need a particular orthosis, prosthesis or prosthetic component, and it could make your life better or more independent, then we will fight for you to be provided with it!
Our on-site Laboratory means that the practitioner who casted you for your orthosis or prosthesis will supervise all aspects of the device’s fabrication, to ensure that the device is optimized for fit and function and that it is of the highest quality. Our technical staff of skilled artisans prides themselves on their top-quality craftsmanship. An additional benefit of having our laboratory on-site is that adjustments to your device can be made promptly and properly.
